According to latest update from Solvent Extractor's Association or SEA, in financial year (Apr.'24 to Mar.'25) the overall export of soybean meal was more or less same of last year at 21.27 lakh tons compared to 21.33 lakh tons of the same period of last year, thanks to larger import by European Countries being Non-GM Soybean Meal. Export of Rapeseed Meal was down in last fiscal though. In FY25, the overall export of rapeseed meal is down to 18.75 lakh tons compared to 22.13 lakh tons of the same period of last year, recording a slide of around 15.27%. The rapeseed meal export plummeted due to lack of demand from destinations and fall in price in last one year from US$ 278 (Average price in Apr.'24) to US$ 209 as on 15th Apr.'25.
