COMEX Copper futures pulled back a bit but held largely in a range amid mixed cues from global equities. The red metal currently trades at $4.34 per pound, down 0.23% on the day, consolidating just above its one month low mark. Copper has lost 4.60% so far this month. Meanwhile, in Asia, China's Shanghai Composite index rose 0.59% today and Hong Kong's Hang Seng index added 0.49%. Japanese Nikkei index fell 0.60% though. European markets saw lackluster movement ahead of the weekend. The US equities were mixed on Thursday as investors prepared for a series of major tech earnings reports. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.33%, while the S&P 500 rose 0.21%, and the NASDAQ Composite added 0.76%.
