German business morale edged up in October, a survey showed on Monday. The Ifo institute said its business climate index rose to 88.4 in October from 87.7 in September. German business sentiment picked up in October even as current conditions eased a little. The expectations index jumped to its highest since 2022. The IFO Expectations Index, which indicates firms' projections for the next six months, rose to 91.6 from 89.8 in September, revised higher from 89.7.
