Germany's GfK consumer climate indicator stood at -24.5 heading into April 2025, barely changing from -24.6 in March. Economic prospects improved to 6.9 from 1.2, while income expectations rose to -3.1 from -5.4. Willingness to buy also increased to -8.2 from -11.1. However, the propensity to save climbed to 13.8 from 9.4, reaching its highest level since April 2024.
