Base metals fell on the MCX in morning trades today. MCX benchmark April Copper futures are down 0.51% to trade at Rs 855.35 per kg. The counter opened marginally lower and tried to hold around Rs 858-859 range before giving up. MCX Aluminum futures fell 0.74% on the day to trade at Rs 242.15 per kg. MCX Zinc futures eased 0.15% to trade at Rs 260.15 per kg while Lead futures are down 0.22% at Rs 178.20 per kg.
