Natural Gas flares up above $3.80 per mmbtu, EIA reports drop of 40 BCF in gas storage

Natural Gas futures edged up amid a drop in the US storage. The EIA Weekly Natural Gas Storage report indicated that working gas in storage declined by 40 Bcf from the previous week. At current levels, stocks are 3 Bcf less than last year and 207 Bcf above the five-year average for this time of the year. Natural Gas flared up above $3.80 per mmbtu following this and currently trades up 3.50% at $3.83 per mmbtu ' hitting one and half week high.
