COMEX Silver futures hit near six week high above 33 per ounce before pulling back as a severe correction was seen in the precious metals amid firm US dollar. The counter tanked nearly 6% in two sessions and closed around $31 per ounce, shedding 1.90% for the week and testing lowest in one and half weeks. Yearend profit selling and mixed cues from equities seem to be capping gains in Silver. Market is also positioning itself for India's monthly import figures next week. MCX Silver futures hit highs near Rs 96600 per kg and tanked heavily thereafter. The counter ended around Rs 91K mark.
