COMEX Copper futures swelled above $4 per pound following a sharp spurt in last session. The metal added further gains and currently trades at $4.20 per pound, up 2% on the day. Equities remain supported. European stocks moved up with major indices gaining around half a percent. US stocks surged on Thursday, with the major averages more than offsetting the downturn seen over the course of the previous session. The Nasdaq jumped nearly 3%, the S&P spiked 2.3% while Dow zoomed 1.8%.
